Demonic Alien Deception Exposed!
I am not Catholic - I do, however, support the work of trained exorcists - Fr. Chad Ripperger’s Sobering Rebuke to a Rising Delusion Among Exorcists
“Some exorcists have become playthings in the Devil’s mind games.”

At the Restore Truth II Conference, Fr. Chad Ripperger issued a bold warning to clergy and laity alike: a growing number of Catholic exorcists have begun to accept the idea that extraterrestrials—so-called “aliens”—are real and active participants in human affairs.
In his keynote address, Fr. Ripperger didn’t mince words.
“These exorcists have been deceived,” he said. “What they believe are alien beings are, in fact, demons manifesting in ways suited to our age.”
The conference, attended by scholars, clergy, and faithful from across the country, quickly shifted its focus from the broader spiritual malaise of modernity to this specific, disturbing trend—what Ripperger termed “a dangerous break from theological discernment.”
When Exorcists Are Deceived
Ripperger’s remarks were given further weight by Fr. Carlos Martins, also an experienced exorcist, who later added:
“The Devil is a master manipulator. Some exorcists, sadly, have become his toys. They confuse demonic manifestations with extraterrestrial life, and in doing so, they abandon the sacred wisdom of the Church.”
Martins emphasized that the deception does not stem from bad intentions, but from misplaced trust in subjective experience. Both priests agree: the Devil delights in confusing even those who stand against him.
The Shape-Shifting Nature of Evil
Fr. Ripperger explained how demons have historically adapted their appearances to fit the beliefs of the culture they target. In medieval times, they appeared as goblins or forest spirits. During the Renaissance, they mimicked pagan deities. Today, they don the garb of extraterrestrials because the secular mind is more willing to believe in aliens than angels or demons.
“Modern man is steeped in science fiction and evolutionary cosmology,” he said. “So demons present themselves as what the culture already expects to find.”
This chameleon-like quality is what makes the alien deception so believable—and so spiritually dangerous.
Psychospiritual Warfare
Ripperger was careful to point out that the deception isn’t purely psychological. It's spiritual warfare—and it affects even the most seasoned of exorcists. Demons can manipulate perception, induce vivid hallucinations, distort physical reality, and even create false “encounters” that mimic UFO visitations or alien abductions.
“When priests stop testing spirits as 1 John 4:1 commands, they open the door to prelest—spiritual delusion fueled by pride,” Ripperger said.
“The alien narrative diverts attention from God, from Scripture, and from the salvific mission of Christ. It leads people to look to the stars for salvation rather than to the Cross.”
—Fr. Chad Ripperger
Seduced by Signs and Wonders
Fr. Martins echoed this warning, describing how the enemy uses signs and wonders to seduce even the faithful.
“The UFO phenomenon is demonic in origin. It mimics miracles, defies natural law, and leads people deeper into fear and curiosity—never to holiness,” Martins said.
Both exorcists emphasized that demons do not simply seek to frighten; they seek to redefine the spiritual imagination of the culture. If they can convince people that salvation might come from intelligent life beyond the stars, they can divert souls from the truth of Jesus Christ.
Guarding the Gate: The Return to Traditional Doctrine
Fr. Ripperger concluded his address with a plea for exorcists and lay people alike to return to the solid ground of Church teaching:
“Doctrine is not optional. Experience must always submit to revealed truth. If your experiences contradict what the Church teaches, then your experiences are demonic.”
He called for increased discernment, frequent confession, and a total reliance on the teachings of the Church. The Devil, he reminded the audience, knows how to dress up lies in a cloak of fascination.
The Final Front in Spiritual Warfare
As belief in extraterrestrials continues to rise in popular culture, the Church finds itself confronting not only materialism and moral relativism, but a new and subtle Gnostic heresy—one that substitutes galactic beings for God and UFO sightings for divine revelation.
“This is the final front,” Ripperger said. “The Devil is now using man’s own imagination—his fascination with the stars—to rewrite the story of salvation.”
For the Church to stand firm, her warriors—especially exorcists—must remain humble, grounded, and ever-watchful. The alien deception, as Fr. Ripperger warns, is not science fiction. It’s spiritual infiltration.
